|   About TotemInteractive LLC TotemInteractive was founded in 2004 in Powhatan, VA Founded as a custom software shop, TotemInteractive started developing our own kiosk management software in response to client demand and a constant exposure to the Internet kiosk phenomenon. KDNA was first launched in early ’98 and has been tested and improved upon since then. In addition to KDNA, TotemInteractive has other products in development and also does custom web development and programming for select clients. It contains the instructions for a cell and determines how a person's characteristics are passed from one generation to the next. 1869 Johann Friedrich Miescher identifies a weakly acidic substance of unknown function in the nuclei of human white blood cells. This substance will later be called deoxyribonucleic acid, or DNA. 1962 Francis Crick, James Watson, and Maurice Wilkins receive the Nobel Prize for determining the molecular structure of DNA. K-DNA - short for Kiosk DNA - is a suite of software tools that allow you to pass a set of instructions on to one kiosk, or groups of kiosks, and to determine what content and behaviors are passed on as well. 1997 Bear Claw Software begins custom development of remote content management and remote monitoring systems for two seperate clients. By 1998, the solutions have been tested and are in use in the field. 1999 Bear Claw begins development of the Kiosk DNA software suite. Drawing on proven experience, the core engine and components of K-DNA are built and tested. 2002 Beta release of K-DNA is made available to the public with the simultaneous launch of the www.kioskdna.com website. 2004 TotemInteractive continues forward with development and improvement of the K-DNA suite of products. |
