K-DNA Server Overview
KDNA Server is a server-side application that monitors all the kiosks in the network and serves as
a repository for kiosk media and content.
Features
KDNA Server communicates to all client machines and serves as the repository of log data. Log
data is used to generate reports that reflect network status. When an RNA (Remote Network
Administration) script is created it is stored on the KDNA Server with all other necessary media
and text files until it is downloaded by the client machines.
Database synchronization between KDNA Host and KDNA Server through KDNA Clone Packets.
Kiosk Heartbeat Monitor, each kiosk can be instructed to ping the KDNA Server to relay its status on the network at a user-defined interval.
Sending of pre-defined messages to technicians for specified conditions and alerts.
Kiosks can be grouped by an infinite number of custom groupings, such as client, region,
state, city, client by region, sub-groups within groups, etc.
Daily analysis of log files for error conditions. Analysis will catch any errors within SQL
statements, application usage errors, etc. and notify technicians.
Generates email / pager alert notifications.
